Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Kolkworks websites and products, including Marginbook. We keep it short

because we collect very little.

What we collect

Purchases. Payments are processed by Polar (polar.sh) acting as merchant of record. Polar

collects your name, email address and payment details under its own privacy policy

(https://polar.sh/legal/privacy). We receive your email address and order details so we can

deliver the product, validate your licence and provide support. Products sold through a

marketplace (Etsy, Udemy, the Chrome Web Store) are covered by that marketplace's privacy policy

for the purchase itself.

Support. If you email support@kolkworks.com we keep the correspondence for as long as we need

it to help you.

Website analytics. This site uses PostHog (EU hosting) to count visits and clicks. It runs without cookies, stores nothing on your device between visits, records no sessions and respects Do Not Track. We see aggregated page views and button clicks, not who you are.
Product data. Marginbook is an Excel workbook that runs entirely on your own computer. Your Etsy exports are read by Excel on your device; your order and customer data are never uploaded to us and we never see them.

We do not sell personal data, we do not send marketing email without your consent, and we do not

collect more than the product needs.

We process the data above to perform our contract with you and for our legitimate interest in

running and improving the products. You have the right to access, correct, export or delete your

personal data, and to complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit

Persoonsgegevens). Email support@kolkworks.com and we will sort it out.

Order data is kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Support email is deleted when it is

no longer needed.
